Sisal fibres are extracted from the leaf of the Agave Sisalana. During the harvest the leaves are removed from the plan, and the fibres are drawn from the leaves (decortication), washed and sun-bleached. The resultant Sisal product an absolute must for the chic and natural decoration scheme. Due to the hygroscopic (moisture attracting) properties of sisal fibres they support a healthy living enviroment, naturally regulating a rooms humidity levels.

The natural floor covering Santos is also available as border rug in custom-made size. There you can choose between six different borders (cotton, linen,  leather, microfibre and a border suitable for outdoor use) and four different widths (1,5 cm, 4 cm, 5 cm or 6 cm).
